Question:
When i install bearing buddies, do i need to first remove and repack the bearings or can i just install them then grease them via the zerk and go on with my life?

Technically speaking, once the bearings are initially packed, you shouldn't need to repack them. I'd still recommend breaking the hub down occasionally to inspect the bearings and races to make sure everything's in good condition.
