Bearing Buddy Recommendation to Replace Grease Cap that is 2.080 inches

I have a dual axle 4 wheel pontoon trailer with 5 hole rims and i need to replace the old plastic Reliable Oil Bath cap on the bearings. Can you verify what size Bearing Buddy I will need? I believe it looks like the Model 2080T-SS is what I need. When I measure the existing cap at the threads the OD looks like 2.08- is that the correct place to measure?

Since you measured the cap dimensions and got 2.08 inches the correct Bearing Buddy is the # BB2080T-SS you referenced. This is a stainless steel version too which means that it won't rust which is great for a marine application like yours.

Technically speaking, once the bearings are initially packed, you shouldn't need to repack them. I'd still recommend breaking the hub down occasionally to inspect the bearings and races to make sure everything's in good condition.
