I have an older very good condition Blue ox Aventa model BX7335 tow bar Id like to use with newer base plates. Is this bar generally comparable with base plates from ~1996 - 2007?

Thanks for that photo, and since you have a bumper with D-ring attachments, you would not need base plates; in fact, base plates wouldn't be able to be installed, so instead you would need a bumper adapter that attaches to the D-ring attachments.…
