When you’re not towing, this setup keeps your vehicle looking sharp. The tabless design means there’s no crossbar or protruding brackets sticking out, so the front end looks clean. The removable arms stay on the tow bar, and the included snap-in high-density polyethylene covers keep dirt and debris out of the receivers. That prevents corrosion and seizing, making it easy to slide the arms in and out every time you hook up.
Connecting your tow bar is fast and straightforward. Each arm slides into the base plate receiver, twists to lock, and secures with a pull pin for extra peace of mind. When you’re done towing, just pull the pin, twist, and remove the arms. The simple twist-lock system makes setup smooth whether you’re doing it at home or on the road.

Already have a tow bar? This kit works with all Demco Victory Series tow bars right out of the box and can be adapted for use with Demco Kwik-Tow or other brands using the correct adapters (sold separately). An electrical bracket is included so you can mount a round connector plug neatly up front.
This is a straightforward bolt-on job with clear instructions and all hardware included—no welding needed. The base plates mount directly to the chassis, giving you durable attachment points that measure 41" between brackets (center to center) with a 20" bracket height. Once installed, you’ll have a reliable connection that looks clean when not in use.

Great!! The only negative I have on this is the paint finish. Looks great for several months, but rusts very quickly. Not a good look on a new truck.

It would have been much easier to drill if it mounted to the outside of the frame instead of the inside. Could not get to the back mounting hole without removing the radiator on my 2025 Ram.
These brackets fit perfectly; however, you must have some mechanical aptitude to do a self-install. I do, and I did install them myself. That's why I rated 4 stars versus 5. Most daunting is drilling 8 holes in addition to using the aligning bolt that is already in place. The instructions call for removal of the front bumper to access the mounting studs. However, I drilled a one-inch access hole just under the rear mounting hole, used the fish wire to get the studs into the drilled holes then used my impact driver to pull them in tight. This worked perfectly and I didn't have to remove the bumper. I towed the truck behind my motorhome today-the brackets are strong and the finish fit of the kit is exceptional! Thanks for making this great product available!
I am very pleased with the Demco setup. I'm towing my 2019 Ram 1500 behind 2017 Tiffin Phaeton bus. With the help of etrailer videos I was able to install the base plates, light wiring, brake system and battery charger completely by myself. It took some effort and a couple of days but save lots of money and know that it is done right.
Heavy duty solid bases. I chose these over the Blue Ox bases because they don’t have the crossbar between them. I saw the video on installing both of them and I liked the DEMCO design better. I even called DEMCO to confirm that the tabs that come with the baseplates will be a direct fit to the Blue Ox towbar that I bought andthey are. I did this after talking to customer service at etrailer and was told that I would have to buy a separate adapter to fit the Blue Ox. It pays to follow up on things. I’m doing a complete install for towing a new vehicle and it was nice to be able to get everything from one place.
This is the second go around for me installing this base plate in a 1500 RAM pickup, as I replaced my 2019 with a 2024. I'm looking forward to an easy installation, and truly appreciate the installation video that etrailer has provided to help me wit the installation.
Looks very strong and quality built.The instructions aren't clear where the bracket for the wiring harness is mounted though.
Other than drilling out the 8 holes it was a great product and fishing the bolts in the frame was a little difficult. Trying to torque some bolts behind stuff was also hard. But overall a very good product.
Now that I have actually used the tow bar and base plates I am very happy with my purchase. Sets up easy and when not in use the cover plates make for a great appearance on the truck.
