Is There a Hitch Available for a 1986 Chevy CUCV M1008 Military Truck on a Chevy C/K Platform

Question:
I have a 1986 Chevrolet Pickup in the form of a CUCV M1008 Military Truck. Looking for a trailer hitch. My understanding is that the bumper etc is configured a little different than its retail cousin. Any ideas?

We don't have any hitches that are confirmed to fit on the CUCV M1008 military truck, but from what I was able to find out is that it's a version of the Chevy C/K series trucks that were manufactured for civilian use. You may be able to use the Curt # C14082 hitch, which is a Class IV hitch designed to fit on the cab and chassis models of this truck. You'll want to measure the distance between the two side frame rails where the hitch would mount to see if this would be a fit. According to Curt, the # C14082 has mounting holes 31.25" center on center, so if you have that space between the frame rails, you'd be able to use this hitch.
If you measure and find something different, please let me know and I can see if we can locate something that might work.
