Troubleshooting LED Lightbar Flicker Installed on 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500
Updated 05/12/2020 | Published 05/11/2020 >
Question:
Ok purchased the 7 wire harness for my 2020 silverado. When I attach a LED light bar it flickers every 30 seconds. Any recommendations

Expert Reply:
That flicker is most likely your vehicle checking the trailer wiring circuit for a trailer connection and since LED light bars draw such a low amount of amperage you end up seeing a flicker. So what you could do to simulate a higher amperage draw on the circuits is use the 7-way adapter part # C57003 between your truck 7-way and the light bar and that would put enough draw on the circuits to prevent the flicker.
