2019 Chevy Silverado Not Detecting LED Trailer Lights

Question:

My 2019 chevy truck tells me to check my trailer lights. Im told it because my trailer lights are led and dont pull enough power and ECM doesnt detect them properly my lights are 7 3/4 X 2 5/8

The issue you are having definitely could be that the LED trailer lights aren't pulling enough power for your 2019 Chevy Silverado to read the lights are connected, causing the message you are seeing. That's more than likely what is happening, and there's a couple options for you.

- Trailer Connector Adapter with Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass # 20142

- 7-Way Trailer Adapter for Trailers with LED Lights # C57003

Either of these will do the job for you if the issue is the LEDs not pulling enough power draw.
