I have a Volvo XC 40 and want to buy the sh77fr. Do you have any suggested installers in the chicago area ? Thanks

The Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver part # SH77FR is an excellent option for a 2019 Volvo XC40 and what I recommend using. It offers bolt-on installation, and it has a totally hidden design which means it is only visible when in use and totally hidden when not needed.

If you will be towing, then you'll also need to the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - 2" Ball # SH36FR.

In regard to finding a local installer, most RV service centers will be able to do this for you.

hello, for the wiring kit part # 118792, I do not understand where the flat connector mounts to. The video says it is stored in the cargo compartment, but How does that work? It sounds like it should be mounted somewhere instead of loose. I have not purchased yet.

The 4-Way connector for the Tekonsha Harness # 118792 will indeed just be stored inside the rear cargo area when it's not being used. The hatch door won't pinch any wiring when it's closed over it - this is actually the preferred method since it keeps the connector protected from the elements (it'll last much longer this way). When it's actually time to tow a trailer it'll be hooked up to the trailer's 4-Way.
