ST235/85R16 Tire Mounted on a Silver Mod Wheel

Updated 05/08/2020 | Published 05/05/2020

Question:

1 Will # AM32734 wheel's offset work? 2 Which chrome lug nuts do you recommend? I see other comments stating longer nuts are needed due to wheel face contour. Thanks

We have a wheel and tire to make up what you're looking for but we don't have it in a combo that is already mounted on a wheel.

Instead you need:

Westlake 235/85-16 Load Range G tire part # LHWL410
Taskmaster Steel Modular Trailer Wheel part # TA73VR

It's the same tire but a different wheel. This wheel causes a small drop in your capacity because it's only rated for 3,500 pounds where the 8 lug wheel is rated at 3,750 pounds.

The offset of tire and wheel combo # AM32734 might work on your trailer but you need to measure to make sure. The tire is going to be 5 millimeters closer to the trailer and you want at least an inch or two of space between the sidewall and any part of the trailer. The 5 millimeters isn't much so if you already have a good amount of space you'll be fine. The lug nuts we recommend for this wheel are actually stainless, part # AM90070, because they're 2-3/32 inches long.
