What trailer plug replacement would you recommend for a 2002 silverado HD w/trailer package, i have no power to my plug or brake controller in the cab and all fuses are good

If the lighting functions on your trailer connector are are functional, you'll probably need to install missing fuses in the power distribution box under the hood. On the inboard side of the fuse box, there are two threaded studs. The one closest to the cab powers the brake controller, which should have a 30 amp green fuse installed directly next to it. The stud closest to the front bumper should have an orange 40 amp fuse installed in the location directly next to it which powers the 12V feed at the trailer connector. These fuses aren't always installed and the factory.

If your truck has the round US connector at the rear bumper area, the # C55774 you've looked at will work great. If your existing connector connects to bare wires, use # HM40975-11998.
