What Length Trailer Leaf Spring for Replacing Old Spring that Measured 25-3/4 inches

Updated 05/01/2020 | Published 04/30/2020

Question:

My trailer has leaf spring that measure 25.75 but that size is not listed on your website. Is it likely that the springs were originally 25.25 and have flattened out, or would I want to go the other direction and get 26springs? Thank You

Expert Reply:

Over time as leaf springs where out they tend to stretch so going with a spring slightly shorter than what you have would be the way to go. The best size would be the 25-1/4 inch since yours are currently are 25-3/4 which for that we have the part # e34SR for a 6k axle, part # e44SR for 5,000 lb or # e57SR for 4,000 lb.
