7-Way Recommendation for 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD for Twist Lock Style Bracket
Updated 05/01/2020 | Published 04/30/2020 >
Question:
My name is Bill McCoy. I need to replace the total 7 way plug that is mounted on the bumper. As well as a new bracket. I have a 02 Chevy 2500HD short bed, 6.5 ft long and 6.6 L diesel. So I would like a direct replacement for my GM product. I believe I see the bracket plus the seven way plug that fits into the bracket but I do not want to make a mistake. I would prefer to do it right the first time. Can you confirm the correct bracket to attach to the bumper and the seven way attachment plug that fits in the bracket that will: 1 have the existing wire plug from the truck plug into the rear of the attached bracket plug and 2 have the trailer plug fit into the bracket plug. Thank you,

We have just what you need to install a 7-way in the twist lock mounting bracket of your 2002 Chevy Silverado with the # HM40920 which also gives you a 4-way connector. I have the same style of bracket as you do on my Chevy Tahoe and I installed this 7-way and it was a very easy install and has worked well for me.
