What does .5 offset mean

The Dexstar Silver Modular Trailer Wheel part # AM20760 has a one half inch positive offset. Meaning that the rim face is one half of an inch closer to the inside of the rim than it is to the outside of the rim. If it were a negative half inch offset it would be one half inch closer to the outside of the rim than it is to the inside. This will allow you to move the tire a little closer or a little further away from the trailer frame depending on which you choose.

Looks like Maxion/Vesper wheels like the #TA56FR are made in Turkey whereas Dexstar trailer wheels are made in USA.

As long as the maximum load applied to the #MX59FR Maxion Vesper 16 x 6 wheel doesn't exceed its 4460 lb capacity, the wheel can handle the pressure of any tire that can be mounted on it, which I confirmed with the manufacturer.
