Recommended 2-Bike Rack for Back Of Flat-Towed Jeep with Electric Bikes

Question:
How well will this work on a jeep 2013 wrangler towed behind the motorhome. says not recommended for flat towing vehicles?? Also electric bikes 40 lbs each.

In order for a bike rack to be used on the back of a flat-towed vehicle it must be rated for this as there is going to be additional stress on the bike rack due to the increase side to side sway. If you are using a vehicle with rear spare tire and the bikes are electric that's going to narrow down the options even further. That said, I do have one really great option that meets all of the needed criteria (flat-tow compatible, rear spare tire clearance, electric bike rated) in the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S94FR.
The E-Spec has a 70 lb weight capacity so electric bikes will be no problem, and it has an extended length shank, so a rear spare tire won't be an issue either. It has a generous 15-1/2 inch from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when in use and 10-1/2 when folded up and not in use.
