I see that you can swap the base to one that works with the puck system but can you swap it on slider version?

The hitch head is the same so yes, you can absolutely swap out the base of your B&W Companion for the sliding base that fits the factory puck system of your 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty.

All you need is the Replacement Slider Base for B&W OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Ford Towing Prep Package # BWRVB3370.
