Will the Solid Step Work With my Screen Door

Question:

With the screen door having a very narrow clearance over the existing threshold will installation of these steps cause the screen door to drag/catch on the steps component that goes over the existing threshold?

The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 26" to 29-7/8" RV Door Frames - Triple - Aluminum part # LC791572 adds very little to the threshold thickness maybe 1/4" at most. Screen doors will have a little bit of give at the bottom by way of a gasket or brush material which sould account for this. But, if you still do not have the clearance for that in some cases the bottom of the screen door can be adjusted up slightly for fit.

The Solid steps are amazing when it comes to getting in and out and feeling safe while doing it. These are certainly something every camper should have. I have included the video I did on them and you can see it works out well. This particular camper also had a screen door and there were zero issues with it closing after I did the installation
