Question:

I keep reading 26-291/2 inch door, I am worried that my 26 1/4 inch door, with an inside flange of 24inch exactly is not big enough for the steps. It is like we have an unusually small door.

Expert Reply:

The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps part # LC791572 will fit a door way from 25" -28.9" wide when measuring the frame inside. If the factory label sticker shows a doorway width between 26"-29" then the above steps will work for you just be sure to verify the threshold is between 27"-36".
