You could use the product you mentioned, but that's really not the best chooice.
I'd recommend using the # L11390 industrial strength grease because of its high level of insolubility and how well it adheres to moving parts. I checked with Lippert who's a big manufacturer of 5th wheel landing gear, and they recommend a multi-purpose because it's something that folks typically have on hand.
