Availability of Winch That Can Have Handle on Either Side

Question:

I have a jet Ski lift that I want to move winch and restring the cable from one side of lift to other side of lift, which requires a winch that has crank on opposite side of all those pictured. In order to use the ones shown, i would have to mount the winch upside down spool would be below crank This is so I can place lift parallel to left side of dock sand spin the wheelinch if it can be fit to your winch or otherwise crank the winch from the dock to raise and lower jet ski. I used to have the lift on right side of dock and with new home, need to put lift on left side of dock Can your model DL14927 winch be used in this configuration to raise and lower jet ski lift? If not is there a model that is configured the opposite way? I currently have an old Shelby model 5352 w/ wheel crank that i want remove from current side and install new winch on opposite post of lift. SHelby winch on last legs and no longer locks in raised position Please advise best way to accomplish? Thanks,

I believe the best option you have would be to get a Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL14527. This winch can have the handle mounted on either side of the winch, has a 1,600 lb capacity and gets bolted on.
