Question:
Hello, I bought a Kia Telluride a few weeks ago with the tow package. It has a 4 way socket installed. My dump trailer requires a 7 way socket. There is a YouTube video that shows there is already a 7 pin mount in place behind the 4 pin plate that came installed. I would like to use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller and avoid installing a brake controller in the vehicle. One of your FAQs shows I can user an adapter and just need to tie off the blue brake controller line. Could you help me put together a list of the parts that are required to do the job? Your website has been an awesome resource while researching this stuff.

That definitely is a 7-way mounting bracket at the rear of your 2020 Kia Telluride which the 7-way adapter part # ETBC7L could easily attach to and would be what you need to install and use the Curt Echo # C51180. You'd just need to plug in your 4-way into the adapter and then run the power wire up to the vehicle battery and you'd be set!
