Ceiling fan won’t open or close by power. Checked motor it runs. Press control on wall and unit peeps. Red light flashing on unit

The most common problem when a fan like the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent part # MA00-04500K will run the fan but won't open is the Replacement Rain Sensor for MaxxAir RV or Trailer Roof Vent Fans part # MA34FR . I would first attempt to clean the sensor really well and check for operation. If it works your good to go. If it doesn't use the replacement sensor listed here.
