Thats great because I have an order in for them. Can they fail because I have them and the lights have been working for years? Thank you.

Sounds like you are missing the blue relays that activate the stop/turn circuits of the trailer wiring of your 2011 Nissan Frontier which we offer as part number # C57000. If you check out the attached picture you can see where they install. Or you can watch the install video I attached to see how the area is accessed too. It's behind the passenger side kick panel.
