Can Roof Bike Rack Be Installed Backwards

Question:
Hi I was wondering if the upride can be use in the opposite direction as with both of them on my roof the same way the handlebars Intersect.

Roof mounted bike racks can be installed facing the rear if clearance is needed. This is a common issue when carrying multiple bikes. So the Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack # TH599000 can be mounted facing the opposite direction of the other.
