Can Roof Bike Racks Be Installed Backwards for Hatch Clearance

Question:
Hello, I am interested in Kuat Trio Roof Bike Rack. However, this seems a bit too long for my small hatchback. Is it possible to install this front-fork side facing towards trunk-side. So, the rear wheel will facing front of the car. Is this reverse installing possible?

Roof bike racks can be installed backwards if needed. So the Kuat Trio Roof Bike Rack # RU01 could be installed backwards if you needed it to for hatch clearance.
