Rough terrain can send a hard jolt through your front end when the suspension bottoms out. Timbren’s Active Off-Road Bumpstops use a progressive spring rate that absorbs energy at the end of axle travel instead of hitting a solid stop. That means smoother, quieter engagement and disengagement every time your suspension compresses and releases. The result is better control through dips, rocks, and ledges without the harsh rebound you get from factory bumpstops.
Front suspensions take a beating when off-road driving or carrying extra gear. These bumpstops are rated for a standard 1,000 lbs of support and up to 1,800 lbs bump load, helping your suspension stay steady under pressure. They cushion the front end and let your shocks and springs do their job without bottoming out or losing traction when terrain gets unpredictable.
Factory bumpstops made from dense rubber can crack or harden over time. Timbren builds these from a superior natural rubber compound that keeps working even after years of off-road use. The laser-cut steel brackets and disks are protected with a durable powder-coat finish for long life in mud, sand, or snow. This setup is made to take repeated impacts without breaking down, so you can keep driving hard without worrying about wear.
Swapping out the factory stops doesn’t need to be complicated. These bumpstops mount easily using included hardware and thread into the existing holes once the old stops are removed. No special tools or fabrication are needed—just solid parts that fit right and get you back on the trail faster with improved ride feel and front-end control.

These are way better than the stock rocks!! I’m glad I invested in these. No regrets!
can not say that they made a change in my over all suspension handling so i would say that to me it was not worth it but then some one else may like them
the bumpstops are good
but the real winner is Etrailer.com fantastic customer service.
I installed these on my 2016 Colorado to cushion/limit front end squat with my snow plow installed. Work perfect with plow weight, don't touch when plow is off.
Bought these in lieu of airbags for my Nissan Frontier. I overland in the desert, taking Astro pictures. I put in Bilstein shocks, raised it about an inch (I’m 5’2, so any higher and I can’t get in my truck!). . Even going as light as possible with my RTT, rack, and other equipment, I was still bottoming out in larger ruts. Everyone suggested airbags but I didn’t want to have to maintain and adjust them. These are perfect and have fixed that problem.
These bumpstops are excellent! they look better in person than they do in the picture. Because I have a 2" spacer lift on my Frontier Pro4X, I needed to Timbren 1/2" spacers & longer 2" bolts. I tested these under full flex and they work perfectly.
I Install this product on the front and back of my 1994 toyota land cruiser ,I realy like them , we explore the Baja peninsula in MEXICO the off road land is very ruff , this bumpstop realy work . the don't crash in to my diferencial any more
Easy install, work great.
My 100 series 2001 Toyota Land cruiser uses four of these bump stops though the build quality of this product is excellent I am only giving it an average rating because 2 of the metal housing that the rubber sits in widens up at the bottom edge. I had to cut that edge back so that they would not scrape one on each side.
Disappointed in this item TABSTOF. They look and feel almost exactly like the factory bump stops, except with a hole drilled in the center. I can't imagine these would make much of any difference in rebound cushioning as there is just not much to them. There is another part which is more appropriate TOFTAC4A, which are larger and would actually have a benefit whether in a standard or lifted suspension.
I like the way they worked ,, but unfortunely I traded that vehicle in , hope somebody is enjoying the comfort ride
