Question:
I have a 2007 Marine Master trailer. To the best of my knowledge from reading the VIN plate, I have a 2,000# axle with a 5 on 4.5 hub with 13 wheels. The hub has a number stamped on the back of a 45263. I have searched and searched and cant seem to come up with anything as far as a hub assembly, or hub, bearings, and seals go. I have read that some of the 45263 parts are outdated? So, I was going to purchase an axle, but cant find a 2,000# axle with my dimensions, the only thing close is a 3,500# axle. The plate on the axle says to be a UFP A391426. The VIN on the trailer is . I would like to buy an assembly already packed and ready to installed. If not, I would like to get a new hub, bearings, and seal as my spindles look to be good. If that isnt possible Id like a new axle. I havent made an exact measurement but I believe hub face to hub face is ~74. I know this is all vague, but any help is appreciated. Thanks so much.

Your axle is a UFP axle which is made by Dexter Axle. I contacted them with your serial number and they were able to tell me your axle is a 2,000 lb axle with a 76" hub face to hub face and 62" spring center to spring center. The bearings are inner and outer part # L44649. Dexter said your original hub is a 2,500 lb idler hub.
You can replace your idler hub assembly with Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,500-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 part # TA88545-2 that uses the inner/outer bearings part # L44649 with race L44610 and grease seal part # 10-60 which measures 1.50". The inner diameter of the L44649 is 1.063" and the inner diameter of the race is 1.980". There is not a 2,500 lb hub that is already packed.
I recommend to measure your spindle with digital calipers to be sure these measurements match up. I have added a diagram for your reference.
