Trailer Hitch Ground Clearance for 2019 Dodge Charger RT
Published 02/07/2020 >
Question:
Do you know what the distance from the bottom of the receiver to the ground is on a stock 2019 Charger RT? I have a concrete step in my garage that the rear of my car hangs over.

Expert Reply:
The ground clearance for the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76145 on your stock 2019 Dodge Charger RT is about 8-1/2 inches from the lowest point of the hitch (the bottom of the safety chain loops) to the ground.
In the image I provided the measurement is the same hitch on a stock 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona RT so that should get you very close to if not the exact measurement that it would be for your 2019. But since we have not installed that hitch on a 2019 specifically I cannot confirm 100% that your measurement will be the same.
I linked the install video for this hitch on the 2017 Charger for your reference. The install will be the same for your 2019
