Question:
I have a 2019 Honda Ridgeline, and would like to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite brake controller, but I'm not sure where to install the knob. Is there a particular spot where in needs to be installed?

Expert Reply:
Other than the fact that the knob for the Redarc Tow Pro Elite # RED44FR needs to be within the easy reach of the driver, the control knob can be installed wherever you wish. Typically, there are blank knockouts in the dash of most vehicles where you can carefully drill a hole as shown in the diagram I've provided. You could also simply drill through the dash in any location and use a mounting panel like # 331-TPSI-001 to dress up the install. I've linked to a product description video for the Tow Pro Elite brake controller.
