Question:

Interested in RedArc Tow-Pro Liberty Electric Trailer Brake Controller for my 2024 Ridgeline EBRH-ACCNA, Wiring Harness TPH-013, and Switch TPSI-001. Do you have these parts? Can you confirm they are compatible with my truck? Cost? Thank you

Hey Walter!

We do indeed have these Redarc parts for your 2024 Ridgeline. What you'll need is the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED74CR, which is simply our own part number that kits together both the EBRH-ACCNA Liberty Controller and the TPH-013 plug-in harness that you mentioned. Again, the # RED74CR includes both the Liberty Brake Controller itself and the plug-in wiring harness. This will absolutely fit your truck and the included harness is designed specifically for the factory plug-in port on the Ridgeline.

For the TPSI-001 mounting panel, you'll just need part # 331-TPSI-001.

These two parts will get you everything needed to install the Redarc Liberty on your Ridgeline. The install instructions have been attached along with a couple videos for you to look at. Pricing for all the parts will be listed on the product pages.

What will you be towing with your truck? Any fun plans with it for the summer?

Chris, I reached out to Alex T yesterday and ordered the two parts you confirmed, she was great to work with. I've had a Hiker camper since 2022 which I towed with my 2001 Tundra until last year when I got Ridgeline RTL. Since my camper has e brakes, I decided to get my first controller, opted for RedArc over Curt wireless. I go to remote areas for hiking and fly fishing. Thanks for getting back to me.

@WalterB Awesome! I'm curious how much of an improvement utilizing those camper brakes will have on your experience. Happy hiking and fly fishing, that sounds incredibly peaceful...

@WalterB. The RedArc controller worked great on my 2024 Honda Pilot (which shares a platform with the Ridgeline). I installed it myself without much difficulty. The hardest thing was laying on my back to look under the dash. I placed the rotating RedArc knob in an unused switch panel on the left side of the steering wheel. A word of caution: In the middle of the installation, my wife had to use the Pilot. I had plugged the RedArc into the car's harness but hadn't secured the ground wire. Every warning light on the dash came on! It all went away after grounding it properly. I towed a 3000 pound classic Mustang from Phoenix to San Francisco and the trailer brakes performed well, even through the mountains north of LA.
