Hi, what front hitch do I need for 2016 tahoe, it has a z71 off road option which I think includes a skid plate so not sure if that is a problem?

We have a great front mount hitch option confirmed to fit your 2016 Tahoe with the Z71 off road option, the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65064.
According to the linked installation instructions, you may need to lower or loosen the splash shield (skid plate) to install the carriage bolt and blocks on the cross member but it can be re-installed after the hardware is installed.
I've attached a photo of this hitch installed on a similar Chevy Tahoe.
