Do Curt Front Hitches 31012 and 31069 Install Same and Have Same Ground Clearance

Question:

I had a Curt 31012 front mount receiver installed on my 2015 GMC 1500 4x4 z-71 double cab. Im extremely unhappy with the ground clearance / angle of approach. If I replace it with the 31069, will the mounting holes match up with the 31012 ?

The Curt front hitch part # C31069 that you are interested in would install in the same frame holes on your 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 as the front hitch part # C31012 that you weren't happy with.

From the mounting surface to the bottom of the hitch tube on the # C31069 measures 9.52 inches. This should give you slightly better ground clearance than the Curt you already tried.
