Question:

I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado , I am looking for a plow to do my lane it is 800foot long . I am not sure which brand and size would be best.

For your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, I recommend using the Detail K2 Avalanche Snowplow part # K2AVAL8219 with the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31069 in order to plow your 800' long lane. The Avalanche Snowplow is 82" wide x 19" tall. It has an electric winch so you can make all of your adjustments in-cab, adjustable blade for precision plowing, and a rubber deflector on top which diverts snow away from your windshield. The other thing I like about this plow is that it has red visibility markers so you can see where your blade is which makes maneuvering around in the dark much easier. I also recommend using the Halogen High/Low Beam Light Kit part # K281488LB2 if you will be plowing in the dark.

The Curt Front Hitch is a custom fit so no drilling is required into the frame like there is on other snowplows that use specialized brackets. The front hitch options also serves additional purposes during the offseason such as helping to backup a trailer or attaching a bike rack.
