Square or Aero Crossbars for Thule Roof Rack on 2020 Hyundai Venue with Raised Side Rails

I have a 2020 Hyundai Venue which has the raised up side rails and I want to put on a Thule roof rack. Do you recommend the square bars or aero bars? The same things will work with them, right? Or should I buck up and go with the more expensive aero bars?

So the biggest benefit of aero crossbars on roof racks is that they are quieter, which leads to a more pleasant driving experience if you are going to leave the roof rack on your 2020 Hyundai Venue (and pretty much everybody does leave their roof racks on their vehicles year-round).

The square and aero Thule crossbars will be able to mount essentially all the same things, but because they are quieter, I do highly recommend the aerodynamic Thule WingBar crossbars. The square crossbars are certainly high quality, but I only recommend them if you also plan on getting a wind fairing, and that negates the cost savings you get with the less expensive square bars.

For either option, here are the parts you need to add a Thule roof rack to your 2020 Hyundai Venue with raised side rails:

Aero Crossbars:
- Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711200 (Silver) or # TH711220 (Black)
- Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars - Factory Raised Rails # TH710401

Square Crossbars
- Thule SquareBar Crossbars # TH712200
- Evo Raised Rail Feet for Thule Crossbars - Factory Raised Rails # TH710401
- Thule AirScreen Fairing for Roof Racks # TH72WV

For whichever solution you decide to go with, I do recommend adding the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400 so you can lock the roof rack to your 2020 Hyundai Venue and secure the investment you made.
