Replacement U-Bolt for Thule Canyon Cargo Basket

Question:
Hi. I have 2021 Subaru Forester Sport with the OEM aero bars. Recently acquired the Canyon basket but the U-Bolts seem too large and have a flat base. The aero bars appear to have a slight curve to their design. Is their a U-Bolt specified for proper fitment or would the flat based U-Bolt offer a proper fit? Would appreciate the recommended part number on your site. Thanks!

The correct replacement U-bolt for the Thule Canyon is the Replacement U-Bolt for Thule Canyon # TH84FW which does have that flat base. This u-bolt will fit crossbars up to 3-1/2" wide and between 1" and 1-3/8" tall.
The Thule Canyons did come with 3 different size u-bolts, all of them fit up to 3-1/2" wide but they fit bars of different heights. If you only got one set of u-bolts with your Canyon they may or may not fit depending on which set they gave you. If the ones that you have do not fit, you can provide me with the measurements of your bars and I would be happy to look into it for you.
