Yes, the self-adjusting Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Dust Shields # AKEBRK-10 will work on Dexter Axle hub and drums, so long as you have the appropriate 7-bolt brake mounting flange. These brake assemblies are rated for 10,000 lb axles and only require the Mounting Hardware # BRKH122510 to install.

Will the etrailer Brake Kits work on 12000 # Dexter axles with the same or similar adapter kit of mounting bolts and hardware. Is the 7 bolt mounting flange a standard part of the Dexter axle?

For 12K axles we have the etrailer # AKEBRK-12, which will work great on Dexter axles. It does have a 7 bolt pattern, which is standard for this size axle but it doesn't hurt to check yours to be sure.
