Easy to Install Trailer Wiring for 2020 Buick Envision

Question:

I thank you for your help with my question, but I have another question for you concerning the answer to my first question. You stated that you had an easy to install trailer for my 2020 Buick envision with the Tekonsha kit part # 118725 which plugs in easily to a connector at the rear of your vehicle and comes with the needed relays to activate the trailer wiring but the Draw Tite hitch for your vehicle # 76300 does not come with trailer wiring as not every trailer hitch application ends up being for towing. So my next question is can I buy the Draw Tite hitch to mount on the vehicle, because I have always heard good things about the brand, and then buy Tekonsha kit part # 118725 to use for the wiring harness? I ask this for the fact that from what I know the hitch basically has nothing to do with the wiring harness and the wiring harness basically has nothing to do with the hitch. Like I said, from what I know that is the case, but I know exactly enough about everything, and I do mean everything, to know that I don't know much about anything, but the way I read the answer you gave me about my other question the wiring harness is completely separate from the hitch itself.

We do have easy to install trailer wiring for your 2020 Buick Envision with the Tekonsha kit part # 118725 which plugs in easily to a connector at the rear of your vehicle and comes with the needed relays to activate the trailer wiring but the Draw Tite hitch for your vehicle # 76300 does not come with trailer wiring as not every trailer hitch application ends up being for towing. Some just carry bike racks or cargo carriers.

If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.

You definitely could install the Draw Tite hitch part # 76300 on your Envision and it would work well with the Tekonsha trailer wiring harness. You are correct in that the wiring harness and the hitch have nothing to do with each other so they will work great independently from each other. Tekonsha and Draw Tite are both made by the same company too.
