Trailer Wiring Kit Recommendation for 2018 Chevy Equinox

Question:

Good Morning, I have purchased a new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox and i am going to install a trailer hitch and wiring for a trailer. The car didnt come with a hitch and im trying to determine which wiring kit is the correct one. there is a fuse box in the rear that has the place for the relays in the one kit. should i purchase that kit or the stand alone kit that plugs in each tail light and has the power wire that goes to the battery. thanks

For your 2018 Chevy Equinox the trailer wiring kit you would want is the Curt part # C56375 based on what you described your vehicle having.

If you have the connector available that this plugs into and the spots for the included relays this would be the easier to install kit.
