There is a bar for the Yakima LoadWarrior Cargo Basket # Y07070 or # Y07070-74 which will work in a similar way to the accessory bar you mentioned. What you can use is the Replacement Loadbar For Yakima LoadWarrior # 8870042.
Even though it is technically a "replacement" loadbar, I have contacted Yakima previously about this very issue, and have been told that you can add one to the basket (or a second one if you have the LoadWarrior + extension). If you take a look at the accompanying photo a customer sent in, you can actually see the bar being used near the front of the basket.
