Does the Hybrid and Non-Hybrid Hyundai Santa Fe Use the Same Trailer Hitch

Updated 11/06/2024 | Published 07/07/2024

Question:

Just a quick confirmation. The 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid uses the same hitch and wiring as the non-hybrid, right? I dont see any separate parts on your website for the Hybrid. Oh and is there an issue with wiring one without the tow option? Thanks.

Aaron yes, the Hybrid and Non-Hybrid Hyundai Santa Fe's can use the same hitch. As far as wiring goes, I'm not seeing anything that is custom so you'd be limited to a universal harness # C47NR.

I’m confuse about the wiring question. I have a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe with a tow plug. What type of wiring will I need to order? Thank you. Also would I or could I use a bracket I saw listed help keep it neat if the wiring plug is under the vehicle? I don’t know where the end of plug is at. My 2010 Honda wiring would just hang out the trunk of my car lol. When I’m done camping I just shove the other end into the trunk.

@LinD Hey Lin, at the time this answer was written there actually wasn't any plug in wiring harnesses which is why the universal one was recommended. It seems like now they've added the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # C48RV which will plug into your OEM wiring and will work with your 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe. This wiring harness also comes with a 7-way bracket so you can mount it to the rear of your vehicle.
