Question:
I understand you can only use a the certain wheel size and bolt pattern with this but does the size of the tire matter? Can I put 33inch tires? As long as it fits on the wheel?

The Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System part # ASR35HDS02 can be used with larger tires yes. In fact, the spindles are actually longer and there is an integrated lift which are both designed to allow for more clearance so you can use larger tires. That said, there are a few factors that go into deciding the max tire size. In regards to max diameter, this will be determined by measuring from the center of the spindle to the bottom of the fender. In regards to max width, this will be determined by measuring from the hub face to the inside of the frame. I have attached photos for you which gives the measurements needed to determine clearance. That said, I don't see too much of an issue with most 33" tires such as 33x12.5 etc. but you may or may not need to change/modify the fenders.
In order to use the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System, you will need the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly part # 42655UC1 or the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-201-9UC3-EZ with the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-458-459.
