Converting from 30 amp service to 50 amp service. I have a Power converter with distribution panel Model WF-8955PEC. Will this one work with the conversion.

Yes, the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 60 Amp # PD4560K18LS8 is designed for 50 amp service so it would work for you. It measures 14-1/8" tall x 11-3/16" long x 8-1/2" deep, so you will need to add in supports on the sides and open up the top a bit to use the Progressive Dynamics Control Center, which is taller and narrower than your current WF-8955PEC.
As a note, I did want to mention that if you are only looking to replace the converter on your WF-8955PEC you can do so without replacing the entire unit; the part you need for that is the Replacement Converter for Parallax/Magnetek or WFCO RV Power Centers - 55 Amp # PD4655V.
