Is There An All Lithium Version Of The Progressive Dynamics Replacement Converter Section PD4655V

Question:

I am replacing a palallax 7355 the tech recommended the Progressive dynamics pd4655v. I understand the unit has been upgraded to a pd46555VL. the upgrade all the lithium setting to be hard set. Best company sells the upgraded unit - can I buy the unit from etrailer? Apparently the automatic setting switch on the old unit is problematic.

Hey Joe,

I don't know what other companies have been telling you but I spoke with Dennis (Progressive Dynamics Tech) and he stated they haven't updated the Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section # PD4655V since 2018 when they added the jumper to switch between lithium and lead acid charging profiles (pictured below). If anyone is telling you different they're wrong. I went out to the warehouse and doublechecked the stock myself and found it to be the same as when I took the picture below a few years ago.

You would need to move the jumper from the "WIZ" profile to the "LI" profile to properly charge lithium batteries.

Hey Joe, how did things go with the PD4655V after switching the jumper to the lithium profile? Your update could make it easier for others trying to set up their converter for lithium batteries.
