Question:

I currently have a Thule ski rack with no mounting hardware and a Yakima roof rack on the car. Will this kit allow me to use my ski rack with a Yakima round bar?

I contacted Thule and the Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks part # 7533998 will retro fit the Thule Flat Top rooftop ski and snowboard rack for 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards and Thule Flat Top rooftop ski and snowboard rack for 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards to the Yakima round bars. The hardware kit is designed to mount the first generation Thule Flat Top Ski and Snowboard racks to various crossbars. I recommend to make sure that is the ski rack that you have though.

Since you don't have any hardware at all you will also need the replacement round nuts part # 853-5439.
