Solution for Fantastic Vent Lift Fan Motor that Closes but Will Not Open

Question:
Hi I have a fan tastic fan which will power close but wont power open. Lift arm seems to be ok. Is there a switch to reverse the motor that I need or is it the motor. Any advice would be appreciated. Part number 6010-05 thanks

I reached out to my contact at Fantastic Vent and confirmed that if your motor/switch only work to close the vent, but don't work to open the vent, it's definitely a sign of a faulty motor.
To replace the motor on your Fantastic Vent with powered lift arm, you can use # FVK6010-81 (white) or # FVK6010-80 (off white).
