Question:
I have a 2019 Thor Palazzo 33.2 on the Freightliner® XC-S Chassis. I have a Prodigy P2 brake controller from my prior MH which I wan to move to the new rig. Would the 3027 or 3027-P be the correct plug-n-play harness for my needs?

Expert Reply:
The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3027-P or 3027 are actually the same but they are only confirmed to fit 2004 - 2016 Freightliner, XC Chassis. To install your Prodigy P2 # 90885 you'll need to splice the connections using a universal pigtail like # 7894 since there isn't a plug and play connector option for the 2017 or newer Freighliners.
Another option would be to use the Curt Echo brake controller # C51180, instead. This mobile brake controller does not require you to test or splice any wires on your Palazzo motor home. It simply plugs between your vehicle and trailer's 7-way connectors and uses Bluetooth technology to allow you to monitor and control your braking activity through your smartphone or tablet. I've attached a review video for you to check out that highlights all of its main features and goes over the quick installation process.
If you do decide to use the # 7894, I've also attached a help article that goes over the detailed steps on how to test and splice the brake controller wiring.
