Will Tekonsha Brake Controller Wiring Harness 3027-P Fit a 2014 Freightliner XCS Chassis

Question:

Would this work for a 2014 Freightliner XCS chassis? Under the specs for this pigtail harness it lists SL and XC series, but not XCS. Thanks

I checked with Tenkonsha and they only show brake controller wiring harness # 3027-P as a fit for the 2004 to 2016 Freightliner SL and XC models. It is possible that they just haven't been able to test it on an XCS chassis yet. Worse case scenario is that the plug will not match what is on the XCS so you would have to hardwire it in.

On the harness the white wire is the ground, black is power in, red is input from the brake switch, and blue is output to the trailer brakes.
