Acccording to MaxxAir, you'll want to remove power from the MaxxAir # MA00-04000K fan for a minute or two, then reconnect to reboot the circuit board. In the vast majority of instances, this will fix the problem. You should also check that the fan is receiving 12 volt power and that the rain sensor isn't wet.

I found the fix for my beeping auto button and the green light staying on but the fan not running. I pulled the control pad off and checked the wiring on the back side (no breaks). I had to put the board to get the ribbon off the board. I reassembled the fan. When I put power to the fan I got a single chirp. When I pushed the on/off button the fan came on. All of features worked and the fan turned off when I hit the on/off button. Not sure but it might be possible if you remove the ribbon it may caused the fan to work properly.
