Which rear suspension kit do I need for my 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500? Is there more than one option?

There are two sets of SumoSprings that fit your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 with the difference being the amount of suspension support each provides. The # SSR-203-47-2 has a 5,000 lb capacity which is for more heavy duty applications and the # SSR-203-40-2 has a 3,000 lb capacity which is for slightly lighter duty applications.

So the temptation is to go with the highest rated kit right? Since more is always better...well in reality the best solution is the correct amount of support as too much gives you a really harsh ride quality and not enough causes the suspension to sag.

So if you are going to be at or near the towing capacity of your truck I'd go with the higher rated # SSR-203-47-2 but if you are going to be considerably lower than that but still towing a decent amount of weight you'll be happier with the # SSR-203-40-2.
