What Is the Required Receiver Height for the Detail K2 Avalanche Elite Snowplow

Question:
Hello, I have an 2inch receiver already installed on the front of my truck. What shout be the heights from the ground to the receiver? I got so many different answers from 9inch up to 18. Please, tell me what would be ideal and what would be the maximum heights? thank you.

The Detail K2 Avalanche Elite Snowplow part # K2AVAL8422ELT will work with a front mount trailer hitch that is between 9" to 18" from the ground to the bottom inside edge of the receiver tube according to Detail K2. The blade height is adjustable which is why there is such a large range.
If your front mount trailer hitch is not within this range then your only option is to use a drop front mount trailer hitch. If you can let me know the year, make, and model of the vehicle I can see if a drop front mount trailer hitch is available.
