The # C16427 bracket kit is indeed compatible with your 2017 Ram 2500. Which bed rails are you planning on using? It's recommended that the brackets used and the bed rails be from the same manufacturer. Curt bases the weight capacity of their bracket/rail kits on the fact that their rails are used so using rails from a different manufacturer could lead to an unknown capacity. The bracket/rail kit combo is part # C16427-204.
